Service Description

One-to-one piano lessons for beginners of any age. Lessons focus on building solid fundamentals at a comfortable pace. No prior experience is needed. We cover basic technique, reading music, rhythm, coordination, and playing simple pieces, with lessons adapted to the student’s age and goals. For children, lessons are structured, clear, and paced to keep things engaging while developing good habits from the start. For adults, lessons focus on practical skills and confidence at the instrument, without unnecessary theory overload. Lessons take place at Typho Studios using an acoustic piano and are tailored to suit complete beginners as well as those returning after time away. Pricing Single session £24 per hour One-to-one, in person at Typho Studios. ​Paired lessons (2 people) £16 per person per hour (mixed instruments welcome, such as joining with guitar players to work on songs together). ​Small group (3 people) £12 per person per hour (mixed instruments welcome). 5-hour block £110 total (£22 per hour) Can be booked as five separate sessions or longer sessions if preferred. 10-hour block £200 total (£20 per hour) Flexible scheduling. Sessions can be split or combined. Get in touch to book! Drop-Off Policy All lessons for young people operate on a drop-off basis, and parents/guardians cannot observe sessions in the studio. I completely understand if this format doesn't work for you, but this is the established studio policy to maintain a focused environment. ​Payment Policy All lessons must be paid for in advance before the session begins. ​Group & Paired Lesson Policy Group sessions are available for 2 to 3 students. Because I carefully match participants by age and ability to ensure a great dynamic, there may sometimes be a short waiting list while I form your group.
